Marketing Skills for the Entrepreneur

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for pupils to take part in a competition to create and deliver a real-life marketing campaign for a global brand working to a brief supplied by DADA, a Glasgow-based marketing agency. This course aims to offer a challenging, experiential course for S6 pupils and will endeavour to provide the high quality provision of applied and collaborative learning, problem solving and real life orientation which meets the needs of this particular group. Pupils who successfully complete the course will achieve the HN unit – Marketing Skills for the Entrepreneur.

Pupils will be tasked with the following:

·         Devise and implement a marketing strategy across on and off-line marketing channels for a real brand

·         Outline their strategy detailing objectives, audience, message, methodology and results

·         Undertake that strategy – this is a real practical exercise in the real world!

Pupils will have access to an online portal providing examples of great work from previous years, guidelines, videos, FAQ and materials available to download. Mentoring visits from DADA and industry specialists will be arranged during the course time slot.
