Prince's Trust Team Programme

If you're you looking for adventure, direction, new skills, new challenges and fun, then this could be the programme for you.

What is the Prince's Trust Team Programme?
The Programme is a free, 12-week personal development course. It involves working in a team of up to 15 people, most of whom will be from a similar background as yourself. A Team Leader runs each Programme and is there to help you succeed over the 12 weeks.

What's in it for me?

The Programme will help you develop your skills, improve your self confidence and allow you to gain recognised qualifications (2 SQA qualifications and a first aid certificate) , while having fun and making friends.

'Before joining the course I was quite apprehensive, I didn't know what to expect . I thought I knew all there was to know about team work, leadership and communication skills, but taking part in this programme has really opened my eyes and helped to boost my self confidence . I can truly say that I'm proud of everyone who took part and feel I have made some very good friends.' Former Team Member, Matthew Merrison, 18

After the course you will get the chance to continue volunteering, move into Further Education or into employment.

'When I came onto the course I was a bit nervous because my timekeeping was a big problem and was the reason I never finished the last course I enrolled on. However, I managed to fix this because I learn how being late not only affected me but the rest of my team.' Former Team Member, Kristoffer Wilson, 20
