Course Description
SVQs are work-based qualifications, which set the level of competence required by Health and Social Care workers. Assessment of competence in practice will be assessed in the workplace and Induction will consist of five single days in the college. This Award is acceptable for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council. The Award consists of six units, four mandatory units and two optional units.
Subjects Include
Communicate with & complete records for individuals, Support the health & safety of yourself and individuals, Develop your knowledge & practice, and Ensure your own actions support the care, protection and wellbeing of individuals.
