Course Description
This course covers all aspects of garment manufacture used in a modern hi-tech clothing and fashion industry. It includes practical workshops, along with college and industry-led design projects. Students have the opportunity to exhibit work at the annual college fashion show and participate in the Trade House of Glasgow craftex Awards. Former students have progressed to university and management levels in the fashion industry.
Progression from HNC to HND is not guaranteed and is dependent on suitable progression through course work as well as satisfactory attendance, timekeeping and commitment.
On successful completion, you will graduate with an HND in Fashion Technology.

Pattern drafting and development, fashion illustration/design, CAD pattern cutting and costume research.

Entry Requirements
- NQ Fashion Technology or equivalent fashion related course.
- Experience in garment manufacture, pattern cutting or industrial experience.
- Successful applicants will participate in our 10 day Fast Track Fashion course in Fashion Technology.
- Applications are welcome from those without formal qualifications, but with relevant life/work experience.
- An interview to determine academic and/or industrial experience.
