Course Description
Students will learn the options available in the digital camera menu, how to download and store their images and basic photographic theory. They will also practice and discuss creative approaches on how to make a photograph more effective using lighting and composition. Students will also learn basic scanning, manipulation of images and repair of old photographs using Adobe Photoshop techniques.
Please bring along your camera on the first evening.
Experience of using a computer is essential prior to attending this class. A working knowledge of Apple Mac computers would be an advantage.
Please note that this course it not eligible for ILA funding.
