Course Description
This course involves pattern alteration, fabric choice, and fitting, pinning and cutting out. Full instruction will be given on the use of sewing machines, making up of garments and finishing off. Although there is an element of class instruction, the student will spend the majority of class-time working on their own garment, with individual supervision and guidance from the tutor.
You are required to provide your own material. Nothing is required for the first class unless you are already working on a project, or have a pattern in mind, please bring that with you to the first class. Students with no dressmaking experience may prefer to first attend the Sewing (basic) class.
Please note that this course it not eligible for ILA funding.
