Course Description
NQ Portfolio Preparation provides the ideal environment for anyone looking to build the portfolio required for entry into art school.
On entering the course you will be advised by our experienced tutors which class - fine art, 3D design (for architecture, interior, product, fashion, or jewellery design) or general section - is best for you and reflects the area you would like to specialise in. The general class combines fine art and design, and is for anyone who is unsure of which area best suits their skills.
Throughout the year long course each student will work on their individual portfolio. Tutor support is provided on a one-to-one basis throughout this process. In each project students will work on source drawing, design development and creative solutions. Life drawing is an important element and this is provided by the College.
There is strong tutors support throughout the course; they can take you to open days and exhibitions, help with the UCAS process, and prepare you for your art school interview and the submission of your portfolio.
