Course Description

Students will complete Communication 4 and/or Literature 1 qualification. This class is very popular with graduates who have completed their degree, but require Communication 4/Literature 1 (the equivalent to Higher English at 'C' level) prior to entering teacher training. In some cases work undertaken in degree studies may contribute to outcomes in the course units. Students are supported by occasional brief tutorials, and most activities are done outside the classroom, with a few supervised assessments. Please note that this is a demanding course requiring a high level of individual commitment and is not suitable for students seeking support in literacy skills.
