Course Description
This 18 week, part-time course designed for trained therapists who wish to develop their skills. You will learn new techniques that combine traditional skin care and massage techniques to suit the modern day beauty consumer.
The course will teach you about skin care and how to improve the condition and appearance of the skin. During the course, you will work with clients in one of the College's student training clinic.
On completion of the certificate, you will confidently know how to:
- Choose the correct cleanser, toner, moisturizer, blend oils and mineral masks for the relevant skin type
- An understanding of skin and skin conditions and how to improve them
- The application of massage techniques to the face and decolletage incorporating acupressure points
- Appropriate aftercare to enhance holistic facial treatments
- Health, safety and hygiene for facial treatments.
