Course Description
This course provides preparation for a career in Networked Computing. Cisco CCNA is embedded in this HND and there is also the opportunity to study some of the Microsoft modules as well as MCDST, A+, Server+ and Network+. Due to the many vendor options available in this course it is as possible to find employment after this course as it is to enter into the third year of university.

Hardware concepts, scripting, client operating systems, network server operating systemts, internet working technology and business concepts.
Entry Requirements
- One Higher and one Intermediate 2 from Computing, Maths, English, IT, or Science subjects.
- NQ Computing or IT
- Applications are welcome from those without formal entry qualifications but with relevant work experience.
Progression Routes
- 3rd year entry to various degree courses at the University of the West of Scotland.
- Employment in Networking and related industry
