Why Cardonald?
The Jewellery department at Cardonald College has been established for almost 30 years. We have successfully gained international recognition developing links in Germany, Italy and Finland. These have been through projects, such as Open Circle, which was funded by the British Council and workshops with Niessing (a leading German Jewellery manufacturer).
Many students successfully articulate onto degree courses and gain recognition in National and International competitions. Other students are employed in jewellery, jewellery related businesses and some self employed.
The lecturing staff in the department are all exhibiting jewellers/designers; find out more about lecturer Anne Graham. Sponsors of the course have included: The Incorporation of Goldsmiths, Niessing, Orro, HW Tankel (Scotland) Ltd, The Incorporation of Hammermen, Chivas Brothers, Gerrards Investment Managers, and Ian Mundie & Son.
