Cardonald College Glasgow is one of only two further education centres in Scotland accredited by the NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists). As a result, our HND Practical Journalism course is highly regarded by the media industry. 
It can help you progress onto university or start your career as a trainee journalist.
Students from the college's HND Practical Journalism produce three editions of The Cardonald Courier, in print and online. The newspaper has won several awards including The Herald Student Newspaper of the Year.
