Kickstart your television career with our hands-on, practical television production courses. Our approach is simple; learn about programme making by making programmes. You’ll shoot on broadcast-quality kit, edit in our state of the art post-production suite, and follow other students in winning awards and jobs in the industry.
Taught by experienced professionals, you’ll make contact with industry insiders; last year’s guest speakers have included key players from the BBC, STV, and major independents. Work on real productions and live shows, and work placements make our courses ideal stepping stones into higher education or work in the industry. Click here to see our student films.
The Department has been recognised as a centre of excellence in delivering television education by Skillset, the industry body responsible for skills and training, and has been awarded Skillset Media Academy status as part of the Creative Loop consortium of colleges. This is the only Skillset Media Academy in Scotland.
