Student Designs Go On Show

Cardonald College Glasgow will host a series of exhibitions in the coming weeks, showcasing the work of school and college students.

Digital Media Exhibit 2010

An exhibition of Cardonald Digital Media students' work will be held at the Hub at Pacific Quay from 8th to 11th June.

This show features a variety of compositions from Advanced Graphics, HN Graphics and Television Production. It will also include a showcase of 'natural world' photography by pupils from East Renfrewshire. The exhibition will run from 10am until 5pm each day and entry is free.

This is the first time the event has been held at the riverside venue and offers a unique opportunity to view the high standard of work produced by Cardonald students. Visit the Hub for directions and travel information.

Art and Design Exhibition

Cardonald College Glasgow School of Art and Design are hosting an exhibition of students work in the College from 8th to 10th June.

The event features designs by students from NQ Portfolio Preparation, NQ Applied Arts, HNC Product Design and HND Jewellery. The exhibits will be displayed on the 8th and 9th floor and in the Business Centre, from 10am until 5pm each day with an exclusive preview show from 7pm until 9pm on 8th June.

The Jewellery exhibition features work by final year HND students, six of whom have articulated onto degree courses at Glasgow School of Art and Duncan of Jordanstone.

This exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to view and purchase original creations by innovative and inventive students.

Supported Learning Art Exhibition and Cafe

The school of Supported Learning is hosting an exhibition of artwork by students on the 7th and 8th floor of the Tower Building.

The showcase was launched on 21st May and will continue until the end of June. All paintings are available to buy with proceeds used to purchase more materials for the students.

The students would like to invite all staff, students and visitors to the exhibit. The supported learning café on the 8th floor will be open for a coffee and some home baking throughout the event.
