Travel & Tourism - Intermediate 1

This course introduces students to the world of travel and tourism by looking at the basic concepts underlying the subject.  Students are presented with subjects such as holiday money, visas and passports, methods of travel and geography.

•    Final exam  


Each subject can be certificated as a stand-alone unit, but students must achieve all four components to achieve the full award.  Teaching will be very practical, and relevant visits (e.g. to tourist attractions) may be made where appropriate.

Entry Requirements

Pupils must have a keen interest in the world of travel and tourism, and must pass a basic entry test which will demonstrate this.

Progression

Entry to NQ Travel and Tourism.

This course incorporates the City & Guilds First Level Diploma in Travel and Tourism and the ABTAC Certificate, both highly valued in the travel industry.
