At Cardonald College Glasgow, we're well aware that students need all sorts of help and advice about everything from managing finances to planning revision for exams. What's more, we know that problems can arise at any time and not just when you're in college.
That's the thinking behind Guidance 24-7, Cardonald's 24-hour online guidance facility. It's an innovative approach to providing the help, support and advice you need - when you need it.
So if any problems arise when you are not in the College or even during the holidays, you can stay in touch at the click of a button.
Guidance 24-7 is available on an interactive CD-Rom which introduces you to our Information Centre staff - the people you will get to know. Each member of staff is trained to offer you a confidential and impartial guidance service, supplying information not just on finance and dealing with studies and exam stress, but on childcare, time management, choosing your next course and generally coping with the ups and downs of student life.
The new service gives you the option of e-mailing us if you have a specific problem or just want a friendly ear. You can, of course, call into the Information Centre at any time during normal opening hours or phone us if you are not in the college.
